Unit Strategy and Industrial Promotion

Under the authority of a Unit Head, Cell Strategy and Industrial Promotion is responsible for:

- The development of policy and strategies for industrial development;

- The implementation of international obligations of the State, relating to industrial development, in conjunction with the authorities concerned, the identification, formulation of projects and industrial programs, as well as the creation of a bank of projects industrial;

- Participation in the development and monitoring of the implementation of regulations related to industrial development;

- The contribution to the promotion of environmental issues and sustainable development within the industry;

- The discounted costs of industrial inputs and monitoring of industrial activity;

- Monitoring the promotion of investment incentives for the development of industrial companies, in conjunction with the National Organization of Investment Promotion;

- The promotion of industrial projects to investors;

- The design, operation and distribution of any material industrial promotion in conjunction with the authorities concerned;

- Monitoring the implementation of promotional activities aimed at attracting investment in the industrial sector;

- Monitoring the activities of promotion of national and international bodies in charge of industrial affairs;

- The organization of Cameroon's participation in national and international industrial fairs;

- The implementation of the industrial partnership with national and international organizations,

- The orientation of industrial developers about the raw material and its optimum utilization, technology, markets and competitiveness in the context of the establishment, expansion and plant consolidation projects, liaison with the relevant authorities.

It includes, in addition to the Head of Unit, two (02) Assistant Research Officers.
